Vegetarian burger with cauliflower

340 g

of riced cauliflower, blanched and cooled

125 ml

of Panko breadcrumbs

125 ml

of grated white cheese

5 ml

of Berthelet Piri Piri mix

30 ml

of chia seeds

28 g

of Berthelet Professional 100% plant based EZ-Protein powder



15 ml

of olive oil

Salt and black pepper to taste


Step 1
Using a food processor, blitz the cauliflower into small pieces (like rice). Blanch the cauliflower in boiling water for 2 minutes, drain and cool.

Step 2
Combine with the other ingredients, apart from the oil.

Step 3
Shape 4 patties (about 100 g each). Season the patties with salt and black pepper. In a pan, fry in oil for 4 to 5 minutes on each side over medium-high heat until browned.

Step 4
Serve with your favourite burger buns and sauces.
