of Berthelet Professional chicken Low Sodium Soup Base

125 ml

of diced celery

125 ml

of diced carrots


onion, diced


can of store-bought green lentils, drained and rinsed

15 ml

olive oil

15 ml

of chopped parsley

5 ml

of Berthelet Five Forks Ras-El-Hanout Mix

To taste

Freshly ground pepper to taste


Step 1
Sweat the vegetables in an oiled pan for 2 to 3 mins.

Step 2
Add water and the powdered broth base. Bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes.

Step 3
Add the drained and rinsed lentils and Ras-El-Hanout mix and cook for 5 minutes.

Step 4
Serve and garnish with ground black pepper and chopped parsley.
