Breakfast Poutine with poached egg and bacon

600 g

of breakfast potatoes (cubes)


poached eggs


slices of cooked bacon

500 ml

of instant Berthelet Hollandaise sauce already prepared (150 g of powder & 500 ml of water)

200 g

cheese curds (room temperature)

15 ml

finely chopped chives


pinch of piri piri


Step 1
In a saucepan dissolve, mix the hollandaise sauce powder (150 g) with 500 ml of boiling water, heat for a few minutes until desired consistency and set aside.

Step 2
Bake the potatoes in the oven as indicated by the manufacturer.

Step 3
Divide potatoes in 4 bowls, top with bacon (cut into small pieces) and cheese curds. Place poached egg on top of each serving and pour some hot hollandaise sauce.

Step 4
Sprinkle chopped chives and a pinch of piri piri on top.
